and long story short, this is how I became some mountain somewhere
how it started...
Seven years ago (wow, has it been that long?), I took a leap and moved from my teensy Midwestern hometown to rural Oregon, where I didn't know a single soul.
And that's when I met the one my soul was meant to find: Justin (and my pup Aspen, of course).
how it's going...
Turns out I didn't just fall in love literally. I also fell in love figuratively. With the mountains. And hiking. And camping. And backpacking. And all kinds of outdoor activities I'd never had the chance to try in the Midwest.
Fast forward, and now I'm living in an RV with the loml (love of my life) and doml (dogs of my life), traveling and exploring the country. In the last 5 years, we've lived in 13 different towns in 9 different states. I'm a corporate granola girly (aka I have a full-time job), but I spend a lot of my free time sharing our adventures on social media to inspire others to get outside, explore, and find the places that make them feel most like themselves.
And for me, it's when I'm on Some Mountain Somewhere. Ope, that's it. That's the origin story.
